Today Liz & I went to Salina to help Mom celebrate her 86th birthday. We took food for lunch and brought Dad up to her room so we could all be together. We sang Happy Birthday to her and had a fun time.
My day did not really start so good because as I was carrying the picnic basket out the front door, I managed to stumble and fall and the basket went down as well. Fortunately, the food all stayed in the basket and no dishes were broken. However, I feel like I've been hit by a truck tonight with a stiff neck and sore muscles.
I hope Mom enjoyed the day as much as we did helping her to celebrate.
