ALL THE FAMILY & GREAT WOLF LODGE

We had a great weekend(Oct. 8-10) with all our children and all our grandkids. The Great Wolf Lodge is a very nice facility with a water park, an arcade, nice restaurant, and story time in the lobby with the animals coming alive around the clock. We had our rooms right together so when all the kids went to bed, the adults congregated in Mom & Dad's room to socialize.

The kids spent most of the time in the water park and since Melanie and I are not fond of water, we stayed with some of the little ones so the other parents could enjoy themselves. However, Rog & June talked me into going down one of the slides and I actually went down 3 times so at least I was a good sport.

On Monday night, we went to a restaurant to have dinner and also celebrated the birthdays of the grandkids born in October. Malia Veer was 4 yrs old(3rd), Ethan Seaba was 1 year old(11th), Micah was 6 yrs. old(12th), and Trevin will be 7 yrs. on the 23rd. The waitress was very kind and brought 20 balloons as well as desserts for the birthday kids.

There was a room at the end of our hall where the kids could do crafts, play bingo, and other fun things. There was a staff member to help them so they loved to be there when that room was open.

Since we came home, several(about half) of the family have gotten sick so I don't know if that will blur the memories or not. We had a really great time and always look forward to getting together with the family.
