A FUN AND CHALLENGING WEEK

Two weeks ago we had Damon & June's children coming to stay with us while June went on a missions trip in Costa Rica for 9 days. We were looking forward to having them but it did look a little tougher after Grandpa fell and hurt his knee.
I wanted to do it even though I knew it would be difficult,so Julie decided to come with her 2 youngest ones and help us. She ended up bringing all of the Duehring grandkids and of course Susan was here to help as well. They were a lifesaver and people brought the dinner meal in each day so that made everything a little easier. The kids were all so good - of course kids will be kids - but I appreciated their helpfulness and kindness many times. They missed their Mommy & Daddy of course, but they did have fun with their cousins and we enjoyed having them with us.

They were so excited to see their Daddy when he came to take them home on Saturday morning. Molly was ready to sit down with her Daddy and do whatever he was doing.

You can see that we definitely had a handicap:)

Feeding the whole group was a challenge because they were hungry when we called them and could not wait a minute to be served. A little stressful. They ate really well so we couldn't complain. It was awfully quiet when they left but we have adjusted.:)

Love you grandkids!
