LIFE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY - Chapter 2 - ICE TO SNOW

It's a beautiful winter wonderland with 7-8 inches of snow overnight. The temperature has gone down so it is colder and we still have our fireplace going. It was still snowing some this morning. We did not have church last Sunday because of the ice and then Wednesday night we didn't because of the power outage and tomorrow we are canceling because the power is still out at the church. Yes, we are still without power here at home as well but at least there is a little sunshine outside right now. We have had to get an electric blanket out for Dad because this morning he just could not get warm. That makes us thankful for our neighbors that have enabled us to have a couple of outlets working. Pray that this does not take a toll on Mom & Dad's health and that they can stay well through these days.

Below is a picture of our camp stove that I didn't show along with our new refrigerator.:)

Rog is going to pick up our generator that would not work for us a few days ago so we took it to be repaired and now it works so hopefully we can get heat and electricity to the folks part. Will let you know in Chapter 3.
