HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROG

Today Rog is celebrating his 68th birthday. Where have all the years gone? Rog continues to minister to the flock in Berean Baptist here in Hutchinson as well as counseling and caring for my Mom and all our family. I'm so thankful for the Godly man that God has given me. He is truly a picture of my heavenly Father in his care for all of us. I trust you have a wonderful birthday honey and pray that God will give you many more as you seek to serve Him in the days ahead. I love you!

TODAY RAEGAN IS THREE

Raegan is little but is also a bundle of energy. She is celebrating her birthday today and says she is two but really she is three years old today. She is such a fun little one and keeps her Mommy busy just keeping up with her.

We love you Raegan and hope you have a very fun birthday little miss cutie pie!

SUSAN CELEBRATES HER BIRTHDAY

Our daughter Susan has a birthday today.(#34) We are very grateful that God has seen fit to keep her and her family close to us in Hutchinson. Susan is a bundle of energy and together with her family keeps an immaculate house. Susan is a pleaser and we are very pleased to have her in our family and we love you Susan.

ELISA CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY

Elisa is celebrating her 36th birthday today. She was with us on our train trip last week so here she is pictured on the train. Elisa is the oldest of our 3 little ones:) and has been a wonderful daughter and is now a great mommy and wife. She keeps busy at home and works some evenings. We are proud of the young woman you have become and pray that God will continue to bless you and your family. We love you and thank God for you.

MELANIE CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY

Today Melanie is 29 years old. She is the baby of our family. Melanie is such a good mommy and wife and we are so thankful to have her as part of our family. We hope you have a wonderful day Melanie and we love you very much. Melanie is expecting their third child in less than a month(we hope) and will give us grandchild #24.

ST. LOUIS TRAIN TRIP

We were all up early this morning to head for the Union Station in downtown Kansas City. When we arrived at the station, there were lots of people waiting to get on the train. Many were headed for Chicago and St. Louis. At about 7:10 a.m. they called over the loud speaker for our group(neir/susan lanker) to board. It was quite a walk to the last passenger car on the train and we had 26 seats in the back of the train.

We were able to turn the seats around this time and the little ones made their home between the seats. The kids watched movies on the computers and some played games on their computers.

We had a lot of fun on the train and the grandkids were busy all the time. Their favorite place was the snack car and the drinking fountain.

Above we are on our long walk to the motel. It was very hot and and we walked about a quarter of a mile.
