MELANIE IS 31 TODAY

Today is Melanie's birthday and she is 31 today. Melanie is a wonderful Mommy, wife, and daughter-in-law. She keeps very busy with 3 of our grandchildren and keeps them involved in a lot of activities. She is involved in church activities and right now she is going to have to play nurse to her hubby, John, who is facing knee surgery in a couple of weeks.

OUR TWIN GRANDSONS ARE FIFTEEN TODAY

It does not seem like fifteen years have gone by since these two grandsons joined our family. Brendon and Caleb are two fine young men that are ready to go into high school. They are eager to learn and are always willing to help with anything we ask of them. The above picture was taken the evening they were promoted to 9th grade. 

They are active in their church youth group and are going to camp this next week. We are eager to see where the Lord leads them and how He uses their lives to serve Him. We love you Brendon and Caleb and pray that you will stay right where God can use your lives to honor Him.

GREG CELEBRATES THIRTY-FIVE YEARS TODAY

Our son-in-law, Greg Lanker, is thirty-five years old today. We are blessed to have him and his family living in Hutchinson. Greg is always ready to help with those technical problems that we get into. He is a good father and husband and we pray for his safety on the fire department.

OLDEST GRANDSON

Taylor is the oldest of our twenty-four grandchildren. He is 20 years old today.

We pray that God will work out His plan in Taylor's life and that he will follow it.

ELI TURNS EIGHT YEARS OLD TODAY

Eli is eight years old today. His family now has a lab puppy and that puppy gets more loving than he knows what to do with. You know which one is Eli because he is often looking over his glasses in pictures(little professor:) 

Eli is a fun loving young man and loves to visit with people of all ages. We think that Eli may become a preacher some day and we pray he will follow the Lord as he continues to grow and love Him with all his heart.

DAWSON CELEBRATES # 12

Today is our grandson Dawson's 12th birthday. Just a couple of weeks ago we went fishing with him so that is where this picture was taken.(at Table Rock Lake) 

Dawson enjoys school and was involved in basketball and track this year in school.  We love you Dawson and trust you have a great birthday. We will see you soon at "Camp Gramma".

EVAN IS TEN TODAY

Evan is 10 years old today. I sang to him this morning and then he was off to school. I think they had a party after school and it looks like he enjoyed some good eating as well. 

Evan is always busy and has a big heart for God. He finally has a dog that he has wanted for a long time so I'm sure he is enjoying Buster(a black lab).

Today, our granddaughter Molly is six years old. Molly is a sweetheart and keeps busy all the time. I understand that today her big sister, Maggie, is treating her very special and I know Molly is a blessing as a sister that Maggie had wanted.

MAGGIE IS A TEENAGER

Our granddaughter, Maggie Duehring, turns 13 today. She is the oldest of the five Duehring children and is a great role model for her brothers and sister. She is a very sweet girl and is loads of fun. She is also a very committed Christian. Maggie, we are very proud of you and love you so much. We look forward to see how God will use your life.

OUR GRANDDAUGHTER BRITTANY, THE CHEF

 This past weekend we went to Kansas City to join Roger & his family and then travel on to St. Louis to watch Brittany show off her skills as a chef. She was with a team of 3 other students from her school that were in a cooking competition.

It was fun watching all that they had to do - starting off with cutting skills, that being cutting up two chickens - they did a super job. Then they prepared an appetizer, a main dish with meat and vegetable, and a delicious looking dessert. The team worked so well together and I know their teacher, Miss Rogers, was very proud of them.

We enjoyed seeing the team in action and are especially proud of Brittany.

BRITTANY CELEBRATES NUMBER SEVENTEEN

Today Brittany is 17 years old. She is our oldest granddaughter and is a junior in high school. She loves school and is a straight A student. She enjoys cooking and is good and creative with her abilities.

AVERY IS ELEVEN

I love the blog that Elisa made for Avery's birthday and could not believe how much she looked like Raegan when she was little.

I love this picture of the two girls and think they are both very pretty but today is Avery's day. Avery is 11 years old today and celebrated by taking brownies to school. Sounds like you have lots of friends Avery, and I know your cousins love spending time with you.

Our brother-in-law Don has his 78th birthday today. Don has served in the maintenance area of RGBI for many years. He is always ready to help anyone with a mechanical problem and is good at it. We are blessed to have Don in the family and trust God will bless him with many more birthdays!

Our grandson, Trey Seaba, has his thirteenth birthday today. Trey is a great big brother to Avery, Ethan & Reagan. Trey loves to write and shows signs of being quite a creative writer. Our grandson Owen Veer has his 11th birthday today. Owen is a fine young man. He is a good model for his 3 younger sisters. He has a good mind and is very inquisitive.
