A PANSY PARADE

This year the pansies have been especially pretty. The weather has been perfect for them and we have them all over our place so thought I would share them with all of you. I love all the different faces.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY

Our son-in-law Johnny Seaba turns 36 today. Johnny loves his family and works hard to take care of them.He is a lot of fun and is always the life of the party. He also is a die-hard Nebraska fan for some reason. We love you Johnny and are thankful God brought you into our family.

KC WEEKEND

We went to Kansas City for the weekend so that we could visit school with a couple of our grandchildren on grandparents day at Kansas City Christian School. Owen and Malia were in an assembly program where each grade sang or quoted Scripture. Owen is in third grade and Malia is in first grade. It was a fun time to see their school, classrooms and some of their work and art that they had done.

Malia at her desk and she introduced us and then read a paper she had prepared that told what she would be like as a grandma and then asked us what games we liked to play when we were her age.

Below is their Grandpa Veer(with Owen) who rode with us and also enjoyed the grandparent day.

We were able to see one of Owen's soccer games Saturday morning. Their team played good together and Phil is their coach.

Below is Elisa running the last few yards of her half marathon in Olathe this morning. She did a super job by running it in 2 hrs 2 min and 55 sec. I was able to see her go across the finish line and cheer her on.

Her children had been running everywhere with their Daddy to encourage her along the way. I bet Raegan has never had such a stroller ride:) They were so proud of their mommy and her medal.

YEAH Elisa! Great job!

Rog and I stayed in Blue Springs with Roger's family so we had a little driving to do to go places but we also got to spend Thursday evening with Roger & John and their families so it was a fun filled weekend. Thanks everyone for taking such good care of us.

EASTER SUNDAY 2010

Last weekend we had Phil & Julie and their family and Greg & Susan and their family with us. Of course on Sunday the kids all wanted to have an easter egg hunt so there were eggs all over the back yard. (above from left - Caleb, Meredith, Brendon, Trevin, Malia, Meryn, Owen, and Brooklyn)

MOLLY IS FOUR TODAY

Molly is four years old today. She was just here at Gramma's house visiting during their spring break. She loves to be with her cousins and of course visit with grandpa and grandma. She keeps very busy and loves playing outdoors. She is such a little sweetheart and we love her very much. Hope you have a wonderful birthday Molly.

ELLA IS 5 YEARS OLD TODAY

Today is Ella's 5th birthday. I love this picture because Ella is such a good big sister to her little brother Hudson. Ella is a busy girl with preschool and lots of family activities and church activities. We think you are a sweetheart Ella and want you to have a really special birthday. We love you!!

DAMON CELEBRATES # 38

Here is Damon with his son Evan. Today Damon is celebrating his birthday and all of his family is here at our house. June is talking to him on skype right now and all his children sang Happy Birthday to him. Damon keeps very busy keeping all the computers going at his work place and starts his day early with vigorous exercise and sometimes runs after work. He also keeps very busy with church work so he doesn't have much time to just sit around but this week it is very quiet at his house so I think he is having a relaxing birthday. We love you Damon and hope you have had a great birthday.

TODAY IS MAGGIE'S BIRTHDAY

Maggie is 11 years old today. She is home schooled and keeps busy running with her mama, learns lots from the Bible so she can get first place in Bible quizzing, loves to knit, helps with her brothers and sister, and is growing up way to fast. Maggie has such a sweet spirit and is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady. We hope you have a great birthday Maggie and we love you very much.

We have had a real winter this year - lots of snow and single digit temperatures and lots of fog which results in the beautiful scenery of ice on the trees, making a winter wonderland.

BRITTANY CELEBRATES # 15

Brittany is 15 years old today. She is our oldest granddaughter and keeps busy with school, friends, and church. I understand that she is going to get her driving permit this next week . Where have the years gone? We hope you have a wonderful birthday Brittany and we love you very much.

DON IS CELEBRATING # 76

Today Don is celebrating his 76th birthday. Don is in TX right now where I'm sure he is enjoying much warmer weather than here. Don and Roberta have a house in Hutchinson as well now so we get to have them around for a few months of the year. We are so glad that the Lord brought Don into our family and we love you Don and trust you have had a great birthday.

AVERY IS NINE TODAY

Avery is celebrating her 9th birthday today. Avery is full of fun and energy and when I see her with her younger cousins, she is quite the leader. She is very creative(like her mom) and such a sweetheart. Avery, we hope you have a wonderful birthday and we love you very much. Wish we were there to celebrate with you.

Today Trey is celebrating his 11th birthday. Wish we could help you celebrate
Trey but will have to do it from here. Trey is a 5th grader. Trey is a good helper and has a very tender heart. Trey has shown a heart to want people to know Jesus and Trey - that is a treasure. We love you and trust you have had a great birthday.

OWEN CELEBRATES 9th BIRTHDAY

Owen is 9 years old today. He is such a fine young man with a very inquisitive mind, very intellegent, has a quiet spirit, loves sports, loves to spend time with his cousins, and is one very special grandson. Owen, we wish we could be there to celebrate with you but since we can't, we want to wish you a special day and we love you.

WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS WITH ALL AT HOME

We had everyone home for Christmas so we had to move our dinner out of the house with 41 to feed. We decided our church basement would be the best for us so that is where we set it all up. Our granddaughter Avery passed out as she was going through the buffet line so I was so concerned about that that I forgot to get a picture of everyone eating at the tables.

We had a buffet line with turkey and ham and all the trimmings.

Lots of chocolate, cherry cheesecake, and pumpkin pies

Then we moved on to Greg & Susan's house for opening the gifts.

Our son Roger supervised the gift exchange to keep it orderly:)

Caleb & Brooklyn were taking care of cleanup of all the wrappings.

Roger honored his grandpa by wearing the red socks that Dad always wore at Christmas time.
