MY OLDEST GRANDDAUGHTER

Today Brittany is 13 years old and the second oldest of our 23 grandchildren. She is no doubt having a wonderful birthday because she is on a cruise with her Mom and Jamie. That was her gift from her Mom & Dad. We will look forward to hearing all about it when they return this weekend. Brittany loves to play basketball and is enjoying playing at her school. We love you and thank God for you Brittany and pray that you will have a very happy birthday.

ANOTHER SWEET GRANDDAUGHTER AND A FUN WEEKEND

We have had a fun weekend. Damon & June and their children and their friends, Kevin & Rachel and their children, came to Hutch to spend the weekend at the Grand Prairie Hotel indoor water park. When the kids became water logged Saturday afternoon, they came over to our backyard to play.
Rog and I had the fun of keeping Molly(23 mo.) with us so that it would be a little easier at the water park for June & Damon. She was so good and we had a great time. This morning she was in church with us and she would keep hollering at Grandpa on the platform "Bamma" and would wave at him. As he walked up to the pulpit, she was hollering very loud, "hi, bamma, hi bamma". Of course our people enjoyed watching all of this. She was a delight and we were also able to see her siblings as well. Today after church we had all of them come to lunch for a lasagna feed(about 25 of us). Below you can see the tables were everywhere and we managed to fill everyone up and had lots of lasagna left over. I think the kids were exhausted so I think it might have been a quiet ride home.

A SWEET GRANDDAUGHTER

Today is Avery's birthday. She is 7 years old and enjoying school and is full of life. She is a sweetie and we love her very much. We love to watch her playing with the other granddaughters that are younger than her. She takes charge and they follow her leading like chicks following a mother hen. It is so fun to watch. This picture was taken when we were all in Colorado enjoying a great time together. We hope you have a wonderful birthday Avery and we love you sweetie.

Today is Don Grabers 74th birthday. Don and Roberta live in Texas and are busy working at Rio Grand Bible Institute. Don keeps very busy with the maintenance on campus. We hope you have a good birthday Don.

SOME NEW APPLIANCES

Monday morning we were going to go to Salina for a doctor appointment for Dad and I was supposed to have some clothes ready to go for Dad but my dryer did not work over night so I had to go to Susan's house very early to get some trousers dry.
We had a nice trip to Salina and visited with several friends from the Presbyterian Manor where the folks had lived before coming to Hutch. We stopped at Applebees in McPherson for lunch and then headed on home. It was a fun day and the folks enjoyed just getting out since they have pretty much stayed inside with colds and the winter weather.

When we returned home, we soon went to the store to see about getting a new dryer. We ended up deciding we would get both the washer and dryer and get the front loading machines that we have heard were so much better. They arrived today and we like them. Sorry we didn't have them when all you kids were here Christmas but they will be here the next time.:) Now if we can just keep the electricity on:)

NINE YEARS OLD

Our grandson, Trey, is nine years old today. Hard to believe where 9 years have gone. Trey has a concern for others to know the Lord and we pray God will use his life to make a difference. OUR GRANDSON OWEN IS SEVEN

Our grandson Owen turned 7 today and we cannot believe how fast those 7 years have gone by.
Owen is a good thinker and asks some pretty profound questions. We think he is a good looking little guy too. We love you Owen and hope you had a really fun birthday. Guess you are ready to go back to school tomorrow after a time of vacation.
