THE BIG SNOW STORM

We had the biggest snow storm since 1970 that started Friday at noon and ended on Saturday at noon. We had 18 inches when we awoke on Saturday morning and it was still snowing so I would say we had about 19-20 inches in all. It was definitely a winter wonderland scene and there was no traffic around our street. Above you can see the front of our house and below shows the front of our neighbors house. By afternoon the sun came out and it was beginning to melt so hopefully today it will melt some more.

Looking out from our garage, the bushes and bird bath were covered

It took us a while to find the sidewalk

Looking out from inside our garage - quite a wall of snow

Bird bath covered

Patio and it was a little deeper at the end

Rog with the snow blower on the driveway - we spend an hour with a scoop shovel before he started the snow blower and the progress was slow
